Applied Electrodynamics Projects
Highlights of some custom solutions designed and built under contract for commercial
and industrial clients by Applied Electrodynamics
SpectraLIBS Metal Analyzer
Portable Laser Induced Breakdown Spectrometer(LIBS)
Utilizing a high power YAG Laser as an excitation source instead of DC Arcs
or High Voltage Sparks the SpectraLIBS Laser Induced Breakdown Spectrometer
provides non-destructive qualitative/quantitative spectrochemical analysis of
metallugical alloys, sufaces and surface coatings.
Arc/Spark Metal Spectrometer Excitation Power Supply
Excitaion Source Power Supply for Arc/Spark Metal Spectrometers providing three user
selectable output currents, three user selectable spark frequencies at 20Kv and three slectable
modes. This new DC/DC converter technology does not require any auxiallary spark gaps or external current
limiting resistors. It will function in DC arc mode with high voltage spark ignition, DC spark mode
or arc/spark mode. Current, frequency and voltage outputs are custom configurable to
the clients specific requirements.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Controller
Built to control and simulate various operational perimeters for the development
and testing of an experimental automotive hydrogen electric fuel generation cell.
PMC-100 Personal Microcurrent Therapy System
The PMC-100 is an over the counter dual channel bi-phasic frequency
specific personal microcurrent system for theraputic
management of pain and other various disorders and aflictions. Menu selectable perameters
for each channel include frequnecy, intensity and polarity. This product is presently under
FDA 510(k) premarket notification review for approval for over the counter sale.
